Description

The Veil Nebula (also known by the initials of the Caldwell Catalog C 33 and C 34) is a vast diffuse nebula visible in the southeaste part of the constellation of Cygnus. In this shot we frame the west part identified with the catalog name NGC 6960 and the star 52Cyg is visible in its center. This is a narrowband bi-color image (Ha OIII OIII) for haze and wideband (RGB) color for stars only. Exposure about 25 hours (20x1800 "Ha, 30x1800" OIII, 7x120 "RGB stars), shots managed as usual with Voyager and Viking software.   Visit this image on Astrobin.com
