M17 Omega Nebula in HaRGB

After a period of forced break I finally managed to complete a full picture on all channels, in this case it is the Omega Nebula, identified as 17 in the famous Messier catalog. Interesting object in the constellation of Sagittarius, very close to the Eagle nebula separated by an apparent distance of only 2.5 °.rnThe shot was carried out in two different nights, and after a few failed attempts due to bad weather; The first evening I dedicated to the shooting with RGB filters taking 6 frames of 500 seconds for each filter, the second I meant the Hidrogen emission line through a narrow-band filter H-alpha 12 nm, for 15 frames of 900 seconds each.

Dopo un periodo di pausa forzata sono riuscito finalmente a portare a termine una foto completa in tutti i canali, in questo caso si tratta della Nebulosa Omega, identificata come n.17 nel celeberrimo catalogo Messier. Oggetto interessante nella costellazione del Sagittario, molto vicino alla nebulosa Aquila separata da una distanza apparente di soli 2.5°. La ripresa è stata effettuata in due sere diverse, e dopo alcuni tentativi andati male per il cattivo tempo; la prima serata l'ho dedicata alla ripresa con i filtri RGB riprendendo 6 frames da 500 secondi per ogni filtro, la seconda l'ho destinata alla ripresa della singola linea di emissione dell'idrogeno attraverso un filtro a banda stretta H-alpha da 12 nm, per 15 frames da 900 secondi ciascuno.
